Electric Stim

Electric stim, also known as electrical stimulation, is a form of therapy that uses electrical impulses to stimulate the muscles, nerves, or other tissues in the body. This type of therapy can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including pain, muscle weakness, and incontinence.

One of the most common forms of electric stim is Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). TENS uses a small device that sends electrical impulses through the skin to stimulate the nerves and reduce pain. This type of therapy is often used to treat chronic pain conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, and neuropathic pain.

Another form of electric stim is Interferential Current (IFC) therapy, which uses high-frequency electrical impulses to stimulate the deeper layers of muscle tissue. This therapy can be used to alleviate pain, improve muscle strength, and promote healing.

Electric stim can also be used to treat conditions such as incontinence, muscle spasms, and joint stiffness. In addition, electric stim can be used to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote healing in patients with wounds or injuries.

It’s important to note that electric stim is a medical treatment and should only be administered by a licensed healthcare professional. Patients should consult with a healthcare professional before starting any form of electric stim to ensure that it is safe and appropriate for them. Overall, electric stim is a versatile and effective treatment option for a wide range of medical conditions. It is non-invasive, painless, and has few side effects, making it an excellent choice for patients who are looking for a safe and effective way to manage their pain and improve their overall health and well-being.

Here is the secret breakthrough of anti-aging that requires no painful and risk surgery without collagen or Botox injections and without spending thousands of dollars in the process. Miracle creams cannot do the same as what we discovered to improve your look. Study shows that anti-wrinkle creams only reduced the average depth of wrinkles by less than 10 per cent, a change barely visible to the naked eye. You need to exercise your facial muscles to look younger. Muscle tone sustains your skin. Over the years the muscles of the face are subject to important changes, bringing out visible damage that can often be of considerable proportions.

Technically, there are at least 30 important facial muscles attached directly below the skins surface. As we age, these muscles become weaker and tend to drag the skin down, making it more difficult for the facial skin covering them to remain elastic. The result is facial wrinkling, along with deep creases, muscle atrophy that cause sagging and eye bags.

By carefully and consistently adhering to doing facial exercises, you will be able to tone and strengthen the facial muscles so that your face becomes more sculpted and younger-looking. However, the vast majority of us cannot move all the muscles most responsible for lifting the facial structure. This is because there is no conscious neurological connection to these muscles.

Creams are for the surface of the skin. One needs to target the root of the problem. There are many products on the market that offer to help maintain your youth. This is because it is designed to stimulate and exercise your facial muscles, the area that has the greatest impact on how you look.

This process can be used to get rid of bags under the eyes by stimulating those muscles under your eyes just like a fitness machine. The electrical vibrations start the blood to circulate under the eyes. Through regular use, the muscles under the eyes become stronger and the skin becomes smoother and tighter.

As part of this process, one uses cooling masks to “cool down” the area which has beed trained, to relax the muscles and assist in further reduction in bags and puffiness. In addition, vinegar bamboo pads help clean and absorb the toxins built up over the years from ineffective fatty crèmes or makeups, where the residue left behind could also have been making the bags or dark circles under your eyes even worse over the years.

Treatment For Premature Ejaculation – No Electrical Stimulation Needed

If you read through the men’s magazines and some of the women’s magazines for that matter, you will find a veritable plethora of products meant for a man’s sexual health, performance and pleasure. The majority of these products are meant to deal with premature ejaculation and the problems that it can cause. There are pills to take, creams and lotions to apply and equipment to use. If you keep looking long enough, you will find items that are very, very scary and not at all recommended to the average person. There is treatment for premature ejaculation and you do not have to resort to dangerous pills or numbing creams or lotions to get it either. Why would you want to subject yourself to something that may cause more serious problems in the long run?

Unsafe Ingredients and Drug Interactions

When you start a new prescription medication, the pharmacist will ask if you have any questions. There will be a paper with the drug facts and information clearly written, including the brand and generic names, what it does, what its regular dosage is and the possible side effects. If you choose to buy something from the magazines or a late night commercial as treatment for premature ejaculation, you probably will not get this information. You may not even know what the medication is made of or what its possible side effects could be. You could even be buying a dangerous or illegal product that has been subject to recall and is simply being sold with a new label. The point is simple: you do not know for sure what you are getting and how it will affect you.

Crazy Theories and Crackpot Stories

You can also do a little research on the internet where you will find even more examples of the crazy things that people will try to treat premature ejaculation. Some of these crazy theories can include whistling whenever you feel like you are about to ejaculate (explain that to a new lover, why don’t you) or reciting the alphabet backward in your head while you are making love. You will also read the crackpot stories of men who are supposedly just like you, who have tried everything that is out there and then some to get themselves out of the boat they are in. If you read that a man, so desperate to last longer that he wrapped a rubber band on his penis and then nearly had to have the whole thing amputated, would you be motivated to try that technique or would you be gasping in horror until lunchtime? For every strange or possibly dangerous theory and weird story, another is just stranger and even more dangerous than the last. It is time to stop looking around at all of the easy way out sites and find the real treatment for premature ejaculation. Your salvation is in your own hands, so to speak.

Pain Relief With Electrical Impulses From A Spinal Cord Stimulator

Spinal cord stimulation is a pain relieving procedure that utilizes the administration of electric current pulses directly affecting the spinal cord by an implanted pulse generator. This electric pulse interferes with the brains nerve impulse to your brain that relay pain.

Typically, before the permanent implant procedure (which is an outpatient procedure) is done, the doctor will give a “trial run” called a percutaneous stimulator, which is outside of the skin with the wire going into the skin and to the spinal cord, if this trial run is successful, the doctor will then implant the stimulator permanently. The implant (stimulator) device is actually placed under the skin of the abdomen (tummy) or just above the buttock area and thin wire leads are run to the spinal cord to the points of attachment. This procedure is typically performed with a local anesthetic and a sedative. After the procedure is completed, the doctor or company representative will help you determine the most effective strength of pulse. The patient will use it themselves at home and typically they will use it continuously once the appropriate setting is established for pain relief.

This type of treatment is usually done for patients that have had prior operations that were unsuccessful, or for patients with advanced nerve related pain and/or numbness, or for patients with long term pain. This, as with other back pain treatments is questionable to its effectiveness, although there is evidence that it does help relieve pain from these conditions in approximately 50-65% of recipients of the treatment. The effectiveness of the electrical stimulation seems to decrease over time as the body becomes accustomed to the electrical impulses.

This treatment, as with most others, does have some negative side effects. Some of these side effects include fibrosis at the electrode site, pain out of reach from the stimulator, electrode or hardware equipment failure, infection, spinal fluid drainage, pounding headaches, advanced irritation of the bladder, and becoming desensitized to the device. Another negative aspect of the implant is that patients with the implant can no longer have testing by MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). Batteries need to be replaced too, but the new ones are rechargeable outside the skin.

There is no strong evidence with spinal cord stimulation as an effective treatment for chronic pain, but as mentioned previously, there is some evidence to show that about half of recipients of this procedure do gain benefits from it.

This treatment, as with any other, should be researched and discussed with your doctor before having it done. According to the American Academy of Pain Medicine, there is no interference between the spinal cord stimulator and pacemakers that some patients may have.
